I decided in December 2022 that I needed to make some serious changes in my life after a rough year of being diagnosed with with 3 different types of autoimmune diseases. I reached out to Ashley in March of 2023 to see if she could help me. I’ve been a long time follower of hers on IG. Well it sounds cliché but the Lifestyle Way is life changing. I come from a family of diabetics, and I have seen so many of my family members suffer and some died an early death due to complications with the horrible disease. I also have Crohn’s disease so that has been a struggle learning what I can eat that won’t cause me great pain. I have learned through this program that if I eat a well-balanced meal and do not overeat I do not suffer from Crohn’s pains AND I am not on any meds for the disease. Heck to the no! We have a different approach where the goal is to hit our protein goal within 10g of the goal and be within 100 calories (plus or minus) of our calorie goal consistently. If you go over on carbohydrates, we want you to hit protein and you will be lower on fats to stay within calories. If you go over on fats, we want you to hit protein and you will be lower on carbohydrates to stay within calories. This approach makes “counting” and logging even more of a lifestyle. It allows for you to be super flexible with what your body is wanting more of (carbs or fats). As long as protein is hit, we don’t care what you’re eating for the remainder of your calories.

Doors close on February 10th but in all honesty if you don't now then you never will. You can talk yourself out of anything even if it literally would life changing. The longer you wait, the longer you're taking that risk of that thing between your ears talking yourself out of it.
7 weeks, we will officially start together on February 10th. This will be our prep week of getting things together, knowing what we need to do and officially start start on February 17th. We should be spending around 6-8 hours a week in order to be successful with this. Now you might be thinking that’s a lot, but that is going through the modules once a week, plus the weekly meetings, it’s meal planning, grocery shopping and exercise + movement. Come on...if we just put down our phone more or skip on the Netflix some that covers the time. It's all about where your priorities are.
